The redevelopment cost £61m, doubling the existing gallery space, including 39 new galleries, a new education centre, state-of-the-art conservation studios, and Oxford's first rooftop restaurant. These changes mark the latest upgrades to the UK's oldest public museum, with its origins dating back to the early 17th Century.
The Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology opens to the public on Saturday 7 November.
